Join us for a fun and informative autumn day in the hinterland ofRed Hill.

The day will be spent in equal parts hunting truffles with Jenny McAuley and her dog Thomas at Red Hill Truffles and gathering mushrooms with fungi master Cameron Russell.

Learn how to distinguish between different varieties of mushroom and sort the poisonous from the palatable. 

Experience the thrill of a truffle hunt through the oak and hazelnut trees and see super sniffer Thomas at work. Touch, smell, photograph and even purchase a freshly dug truffle.

All this hunting and gathering will leave you with an appetite. 
Enjoy a lunch of tasty treats with a glass of wine and discover the best ways to store, prepare, cook and serve both truffles an mushrooms.
