Please read through the following Q&A’s
These are questions I have been asked many times over the last 20+ years, I hope you find them informative and fun to read through. 🙂
Q) How do I get in contact with you?
A) Please contact me via the email address on the home page of this website or via our Face Book page
Q) How do I book?
A) All initial bookings are done online via our bookings page. The Booking page will take you to trybookings.com that will securely process your booking on line.
Q) How do I pay?
A)he Booking page will take you to trybookings.com that will securely process your booking on line. Please note I do not do Bank Transfers, Accept Cash on the day or any other form of payments. Why? because it never works out and makes me cry.
Q) Can I change my booking at short notice?
A) No
Q) I forgot to attend a tour can I have a refund?
A) Tickets for the tour and lunch bookings will be only refunded in the
event that it is necessary for us cancel the tour and or the luncheon. If you are unable to attend on the day there are strictly no refunds for any reason. This includes “My girlfriend’s dog was a bit unwell on the day” I kid you not.
A) The early tours starts at 9:00 am
A) The later tour starts at 12pm
Q) Can I book in for the lunch without doing the tour? (When applicable)
A) No
Q) Are you able to cater for particular food requirements?
A) Yes… but you have to tell us when you book, as we wont be able to do something on the day.
Q)Can I take the mushroom we pick?
A) No…you we will not allow you to take them home with you. Why you ask? Because if you stop and pick a poisonous type on the way home and kill all your family…. I don’t want to have to deal with that. So Just No 🙂
Q) Can I do the tour without a car
A) You will need your own car.
Q) What should I wear?
A) Wear appropriate clothes & shoes for the weather.
Q) Will I learn all about “Magic Mushrooms”
A) No. they are illegal to pick & possess. Simply I do not wish to share a prison cell with you. If this annoys you please contact your local elected federal parliamentary member and tell them you would like the law changed. I cant do anything about it so please don’t nag, denounce or shout at me about something that I have no control over as it makes me sad and somewhat flatulent.
Q) Should I bring my elderly grand parent?
A) Maybe…If they are used to walking a couple of kms per day then sure. Wheelchairs, walking frames, not confident on walking over broken ground? then sorry its not for them.
Q) Is it good to bring small children?
A) You can but they often cry a lot and one of the parents more often than not goes and sits in the car with the child and misses out, its up to you. Children under 4 years old are free.
Q) Is it suitable for younger children or teenagers?
A) We like kids! Although other people have paid to come on the tour as well, so if they are going to be distracting for you and everyone else then maybe not. It does make it hard when they run around shouting , waving sticks in the air and squashing the mushrooms. I know they are just “being kids” but I do get sad & teary when that happens, just saying. Children over 4 years old are at adult prices.
Q) Can I bring my dog… he really friendly and lovely!
A) We like dogs a lot!! Although many other people are scared of dogs regardless. Other people have paid to come on the tour as well, so we ask you to please leave your dog at home.
Q) Do you sell vouchers?
A) No
Q) Do you do week day tours?
A) No I’m sorry I don’t.
Q) “That blurry picture I send from my phone of a mushroom, can I eat that?”
A) Most likely not, I cant really tell 😉
